I mean, we all know what its purpose is: Asking whether or not we should ban Link from the next contest, which will never happen because even if we actually managed to get a mostly-unanimous consensus, it's not gonna stop Allen from forgetting next contest and Link from getting thousands of nominations anyways. But seriously, asking it in the form of "Is Link the greatest videogame character ever" when you could've gone with something like "most iconic" or "memorable" or "popular" et cetera when this is clearly a popularity poll first and foremost? Just kinda seems like asking the completely wrong question here.
