it's not as good as XD - no wild pokes, not nearly as many pokes in general, no purify chamber, etc - but there's still cool stuff. Team Snagem plays a much bigger role and is working with cipher. the cipher admins have the dogs instead of the leader having the birds. The Under (the town under Pyrite Town) is fun. if memory serves, there are also no trainers that have more than 1 shadow

I would have liked Colloseum more if I'd played it first, but after playing XD first on a whim (I think I found it at Blockbuster for cheap, at the time it was the only decent way to get Lugia and the Johto starters), Colloseum was a slog to get through. Having a cute partner and a much more impressive means of transportation were certainly pluses, though.

WTF? This is one of the worst games I've ever played in my life. I got it because of the events you could transfer to gen 4 games, and hated almost every second of that garbage. Bad gameplay, terrrrrrible story, and hours and hours of unskippable, awful dialogue.
