Ive played the game before, but never really got into a season. What is different? What should I be aiming for?

once you get to the higher levels should be fine. i lost my monk early on because he died to the goddamn sword against a boss. though tbh i didn't remember which was the easier class to survive when i did the plat back on the ps3.

I usually stick to Hard/Expert on hardcore, whereas I usually start Expert/Master on non-hardcore and then jump up 2-3 torment levels per Haedrig set rewards. Not sure what the set for necro is currently but I liked the bone armor based one the most from what I've tried. Favorite set overall is the witch doctor corpse wall set. My current WD has other gear that synergizes well with it (more pet bonuses, corpse wall can be cast 3x in a row before cool down etc.) and he's the first character I've ever cleared greater rift 70 with.

I started off on Hard one time, but I couldn't beat anything because I was only Level 1 or some shit. I was just doing the story, but I think there is other things you can do in each Chapter, extra stuff not in a normal game and only a Season one, but I don't know how to do them

Yeah just start in adventure mode. For new seasons, I always start with bounties. The rewards are decent and they give the act-based items needed for cube crafting. Generally I do bounties, chapter requirements and kanai's cube up to level 70, then move on to rifts and greater rifts after that.

Don't random disconnections also fucks over HC players? That's what I heard.

Be careful of going into rifts because it might give you those ghosts that kill you before the loading screen is even done

that was a terrible night. so many hardcore players died that day because the blizz servers we're having issues.

Not sure what specific thing you're talking about but this thing still happens, not the fault of server load, because of ghosts that sometimes spawn by the entrance and will one-shot you before you can finish loading and get your buffs up

Necro and hardcore probably don't mix lol. Necro tends to be very squish.

Don't understand the appeal of hardcore. But I'm sure there are probably some builds you could use, you'll just have to be careful.

You could still lose your character to a random lag spike or other nonsense though.
