Dailymail discovered that the charges against Kathryn Mahoney will not be going forward after she was accused of punching a star swimmer and rugby player, Ben Kebbell, from the UK. It happened at her dorm in March 1, 2018 at Fairfield University as Kathryn's lawyer, Frank Riccio II said that all charges against her were dismissed after the court considered all the facts and circumstances surrounding the matter. He said "Now that all the charges have been dismissed, she will continue her collegiate studies which have placed her in the TOP of her class. Her future is extremely bright!" Dailymail tried to get a comment from Ben but he refused to comment, neither has the prosecutor as it isn't clear why it was dropped, other than the story that was originally told wasn't the fully story. Ben, a 184 muscled athlete joked about the punch as he took a selfie of himself with a bloodied nose and wrote "The katie thing comes with a broken nose lol" In a later picture, the freshman was all smiles after cleaning off the blood. The initial story was that Ben told police that Kathryn punched him after he mentioned he wanted to end things and then he claims he was groggy and tried to grab her shoulders but he failed to stop her so he ran to a friend's dorm room to call for help. He took himself to St. Vincent hospital for treatment for a swollen and bloody nose. Kathryn was known to be working as a model at the time and had 100000 followers and her model career was put on hold because of it. She was charged with 3rd degree assault and disorderly charges and held on 1500 bail... The small private university has 5100 students and Kathryn was one of the top students who can still finish her studies there. The attack was a rally cry for men who were abused by their girlfriends and demanded JUSTICE for Ben but this turn of events has put another dent in that as we still don't know why the charges were dropped.
