No. In fact, all the shower knobs were removed. You couldn't even turn on the water. Not like there would be time anyway since they gave you only 5 mins to dress at the beginning and end of class. One year I got screwed with gym in the morning, and one year I lucked out with it being the last class of the day.

yes. had gym first hour through most of middle and high school. i was the only one to do it too and also the only one that didnt smell like spicy butthole all day too.

We had 40 minute class periods with 4 minutes between. We we're dismissed from gym about 5 minutes before the bell, which was just enough time to get dressed. I think I did rinse off the clorine if we had swimming though.

Only during the swimming unit in high school. But I probably sweated more in marching band, anyway. And Im a girl, and we never stink. ;-)

PE was my last class so I just dipped home after last bell.

If we wanted to take a shower we got to leave class ten minutes early. Plenty of time to get a good game of soap soccer in. Good times.

no. I don't remember anyone doing that. the showers were never used. I heard that people used to shower more in decades past. but by the late 90's, when I was in highschool, students were no longer forced to do it. they might have done it for Swim class. but I wasn't in that. I know the showers worked cause we heard about a crazy man who was caught taking a shower in the girl's locker room

Didn't take gym in high school. In middle school, no. The change room had an old open shower area but it wasn't used and we weren't allowed in that part.

Nope, had no time for that. We had maybe 5 minutes to get back into our regular clothes, put on deodorant, wash up at the sink and rush off in time for the next class.
