Exactly. Only step left is to put new releases on there. Which they will eventually. If I were Sony, I'd release a version of PS Now that lets you download the games to Linux machines like you can to PS4. 1. The PS4 already runs Linux so shouldn't be too hard to port over the dependencies needed 2. It would drive people away from Windows which is a competitively smart move as you can't really do gaming on a VM so it'd have to be a physical install 3. Many PS games would run better on higher end PCs --- It says right here in Matthew 16:4 "Jesus doth not need a giant Mecha." https://imgur.com/dQgC4kv ... Copied to Clipboard!

It is weird to me but maybe at this point Microsoft doesn't feel the need to try extremely hard. They don't really lose much by putting out a console, it's not groundbreaking tech. They'll take whatever games they can get. They'll sponsor a couple of mediocre exclusives. People will always buy it because of brand loyalty or overall synergy w/ their other devices. There's no reason for them to stop making consoles but there's no reason for them to be exceptional at it either.

There's no reason for them to stop making consoles but there's no reason for them to be exceptional at it either. that approach is just gonna make Sony more complacent and lead to domination Historically, Nintendo isn't a direct sales competitor to Sony and MS outside the handheld market. The Wii was a huge outlier in a market where casual gaming was on the rise and it was cheaper than the 360 and ps3. The Switch will have its sales but it won't threaten PS4 and X1 sales. With MS basically bowing out and shifting their attention to the PC market and making the X1 a media player(didn't Sony do this last gen with the PS3) they'll just sit on their ass. They don't even think it important enough to show up at the major gaming conferences now. MS is really gonna have to impress with the next Xbox or they might as well leave the console business and focus only on PC imo Hell, they were pushing PUBG pretty hard saying it was only on xbox and now it's on PS4...seems to be the tale for the rest of their exclusives. --- PSN and XBL: Tyruler50, Switch FC: 4538-0715-0699 Steam: TYmaster50, Battlenet: TYmaster50#1751 ... They've bought several studios this year.
They don't need to choose between PC and console because they can use both. Xbox is going to have a massive ecosystem going into next gen. Anyone who has ever used Xbox will have the majority of their purchases on that system day one and they'll be in higher quality. People can subscribe to Game Pass and they'll have over 100 games ready to download with new ones being added every month or whatever. If you want to play their games on PC that's great for them too. Windows 10 does not seem to be a successful games platform for them. If you don't want to buy a console and you don't want to buy a PC it also seems like they're going to sell some cheap device that's dedicated to streaming Xbox games too. If you don't want to buy that you will probably be able to stream them to your phone or smart TV. I think all of it is smart tbh. An engaged userbase means a lot more than hardware sales for one platform. --- Kind Regards, Darmik ... Copied to Clipboard!

Sony will continue to lose money on every PlayStation unit sold while Microsoft keeps getting cash from Live/Gamepass Subscriptions on Xbox/PC/Whatever. they also have that many ps4s in the wild, buying games and paying for ps+. Apparently the PlayStation division made $750m in a 3 month span. The articles are from July, so it's not even counting the money from Marvel's Spider-Man and RDR2, and the upcoming KH3. So I don't think they're worried about losing money on units sold when they're raking in billions from it --- PSN and XBL: Tyruler50, Switch FC: 4538-0715-0699 Steam: TYmaster50, Battlenet: TYmaster50#1751 ... X1X >>>>>> PS4 Pro xbox one x is just an expensive console trying to be a PC. It's in a weird place. If you really cared for the graphical prowess of the X1X you'd just get a PC at that point since imo X1 doesn't have enough true exclusives to warrant spending $500 and with game pass coming soon to PC, who knows if those will also included xbox only games like Halo MCC --- PSN and XBL: Tyruler50, Switch FC: 4538-0715-0699 Steam: TYmaster50, Battlenet: TYmaster50#1751 ... RDR2 made $725 million in 3 days let's assume thats a 60/40 split on PS4/X1(being generous to X1, it was probably more like 70/30) wait i forgot the 60/40 hold up okay edited for the current numbers, 17 million copies in 2 weeks 183,960,000 is how much Sony got if they made 30% on their shares That's a lot --- PSN and XBL: Tyruler50, Switch FC: 4538-0715-0699 Steam: TYmaster50, Battlenet: TYmaster50#1751 ...
