SPOILER, I'M A HUGE NOBLE NINE FAN. And this is my opinion, and since "my opinion" is never wrong on the internet then you can just look at this as fact. And I need to do something while I wait this match to end.

No 16: Auron.

I don't think I've ever voted for Auron. It might be because I didn't get my own ps2 until 2007, and I was 19 didn't really know what to expect from him. This was the guy that proved that side characters can be more popular than the main character in contests, but I just never clicked with Auron. I don't dislike him or anything, I just don't care about him. I think he was the last guy I maxed in FFX when I got the platium trophy of FFX HD.

Oh wait didn't he face Squall once? Yeah I must've voted for him over Squall, but I usually just prefer the character he's facing.

Who Zylo wanted to win in Auron's division: Magus! I wouldn't have stayed on this board after the 2003 contest if this board didn't have so many other Magus fans. Such a shame that he didn't win over Vincent (another overrated FF character, but he looks cooler than Auron IMO.)

No 15: Pikachu

GameFAQs users votes for this electric rat over Mega Man? Lets never have a contest again, or at least never let the user's opinion matter more than the others. I don't hate Pikachu, but as someone who can't name 10 Pokmon who isn't from the first generation and isn't in Smash, I think there are many more interesting Pokmon than Pikachu. And I suck with him in Smash Bros. And Raichu is much cooler so I always use a Thunderstone as soon as I get a chance on the rat. And I miss the days when I first came to this site and saw the Fox doubled Pikachu and realized "People here got excellent taste." Sure Pikachu is cute (that's why I got a stuffed Pikachu in my sofa, but that's also because I won him in a lottery.)

Who Zylo wanted to win in Pikachu's divison: Zero, Knuckles and Yoshi are all great choices, but if I have to choose one of them I have to go with...Zero. no wait Knuckles. NO Zero...Well I voted for Knuckles.....but that was because I knew that Zero would win..... Eh.... Whatever.

No 14: Ganondork

I don't care much about him in the Zelda series, but I think he's very fun to play as in Smash Bros, so at least he got something going for him. And the battle in Wind Waker is really cool, and Breath of the Wild if you count Ganondorf = Ganon. I guess that's all I have to say about him. I usually vote for his opponent, but that's also because I always know that he will win. After all he's the Zelda villain...

Who Zylo wanted to win in Ganondorf's divison: Chun Li. I wish I was a better player with her, but it was awesome to see a childhood hero win one match.

No 13: Super Mario.

Easily my least favourite of the Noble Nine characters. Do I hate Mario? Nope. Is he one of my favourites in Smash? Maybe...Do I like Mario as character? Eh.... There's nothing interesting about Mario at all IMO. I used to prefer Luigi over him until Luigi's Mansion got released and Nintendo turned Luigi to a poor scared little brother. But the main reason why Mario is so low is because he's just Mario. SM64 is the only Mario game I find amazing while I would rather play a game with Sonic, Mega Man, Ratchet, Sly Cooper, Jak, Donkey Kong, Earthworm Jim, Crash e.t.c. I used to love Mario as a child thanks to cartoons, but I never thought most of his games where more than fun platformers, but there are many that more fun. Then again I haven't played Galaxy 2 (the first game was nothing special IMO), 3D Land and World or Oddysey so maybe I have missed something, but I guess they are just ok platformers too.

I've tried three RPGs with Mario (SMRPG, PM2 and Superstar Saga) and well....I hated them all. I usually vote against Mario, since he tends to face underdogs that I want to perform OK. I guess that's it I have to say about Mario.. Oh and OMG CLUD IZ SO MUCH BETTER!!!!!!

No 12: Bowser

Unlike Mario, Bowser is really awesome! Remember that I said that I hated Paper Mario 2. Well here's one reason. I spent a lot of time with Mario, then saw some cutscenes, then all of a sudden you get to play as Bowser in Stage 1-1! Seriously, WHY WOULD I EVER WANT TO PLAY AS MARIO EVER AGAIN? Bowser is the king of koopas! A kickass villain, and he's very fun to play as in every type of spin of game. Nintendo should release a game where you play as Bowser instead and have to defeat Mario in different boss fights.

Who Zylo wanted to win in Bowser's divison: Ike. Not only is his two Fire Emblem games two of the best but he might also be the best Fire Emblem Lord of them all. Phoenix Wright is a close second.

No 11: Zelda

I really wanted to have Zelda in my top 10, but to tell the truth I would've voted for the other 10 characters left over her IF I had no knowledge how this contests are. Now I want her to win the whole thing, even if she got no chance against Link. Lets compare her to Peach for one second, a girl who does nothing but get kidnapped again, and again, and again. Meanwhile Zelda is (Wind Waker spoiler) The Pirate Tetra and Shiek. And she's usually helpful in the other Zelda games as well. Maybe she isn't my favourtie character of all time, but I personally think it's really fun that she of all characters had this run in the contest.

Who Zylo wanted to win in Zelda's divison: The Boss. I like her more every time I replay MGS3!

No 10: Crono

Chrono Trigger is easily on my top 5 games of all time, so I love the fact that Crono does as well as he does in these things. Don't let this "low" place fool you, I will vote for Crono over those I think he got no chance against, because it's always fun to see this guy with just one game beat gaming icons. Crono might be the best silent hero in any JRPG. He looks awesome thanks to Akira Toriyama, his katanas and lightning magic is a great combination and there's also the big spoiler that I'm not going to mention here. The only reason Crono doesn't get higher is because now we are talking about some of my favourite characters in gaming.

No 9:: Sephiroth

Sephiroth used to be my favourite villain of all time. And who can blame me? How can a teenager not love a man with sexy long gray hair all dressed in black who carries the biggest katana ever made? And without spoiling to much of FFVII, I love that he turns Cloud into his puppet. But I played through FFVII a few weeks ago and realized that there are other characters that I like more in that game, in fact there are two who still haven't appeared. In case you haven't figured it out, FFVII is my favourite game of all time.
