Why in the goddamn hell would anyone care about something like this? Like... why did they even bother watching? Were they actually really excited for it for some reason? I just... I don't get it. I never have felt a larger disconnect with people than with this inane thing. I just cannot understand why the fuck they care so much about this video.

Then again, I'm also baffled by the fact that just as little as 5 years ago, everyone hated Pewdiepie, and now it seems everyone loves him. Like, a complete 180, out of nowhere.

Because he's a successful creator who's been attempted to be deplatformed multiple times by the very platform he got famous on and when he was going through a bunch of bs with Derek Savage when YT should have been there for him that which YT themselves enabled were silent on the matter and did nothing to help him.

YouTube's shit support for its creators is no secret. People featured in those videos have had issues with YouTube at some point or another. He makes good points in his initial video about them just touching over very specific thingsin the year and glossing over certain things that would view YouTube and its creators unfavorably.
But he makes a video for this every year, despite the initial video already getting all the points across that he's just repeating.
It's like, we get it. Get over it.

Nah, I'd say allowing yourself to be worked up over little dumb shit that ultimately doesn't matter to you on the grand scheme of things is more unhealthy and unproductive.
There are other ways to get your point across without being repetitive. Sounds like you just need to get creative.
