i bought a new keyboard, and the stickers closing the box were broken and it had a commission sticker on it. Took it to a sales rep, explained that this was listed as new price (50) and they bumped it down to 35 for me.

Get home and only the outer box had been opened - the keyboard inside was still sealed/the factory-installed stickers holding it shut were fully in-tact and not stretched.

Nice. Now I can be a cool gamer with a mechanized keyboard. I don't like typing much on it, however, because my type speed went from 102wpm to 96wpm...smh.

This happened to me with an iPad before. I bought a refurbished model and when I took it out of the box I noticed that the screen was a little dark in one corner. I took it in and they replaced it with a new one, still unopened. I'm about to start moving away form Apple products but I'm really going to miss their customer service.

That was my experience, with the typing speed and all

I type fastest on Apple keyboards, of all things, which is a little annoying because I don't use Macs anymore and they all annoyingly have the Fn key where CTRL is on every single other keyboard. Or else I'd just buy a USB Apple keyboard

I like Apple keyboards but I've never seen them for cheaper than 70 dollars. The amazon basics one I had before this was great but broke this morning and I had to get a replacement ASAP. All the cheapies Microcenter sells are terrible so I went with this since everyone raves about how great they are

at least it has lights lmfao...and I suppose I'll get used to typing on this, but the keys feel too heavy when I'm pressing them and it feels like I have to "think" too much about typing which is slowing me down.

They had these keyboards that look like typewriters which seemed pretty cool but I think those would be even worse lmfao

I once got an "open-box" Logitech gaming keyboard on clearance at a local Target for like 80% off the MSRP and only the outer box was opened as well. Everything else was brand new and sealed inside. I think I only paid like $20 or so for it.

Can't relate to the other part of the topic, though. I switched to my first mechanical keyboard about two years ago (a Logitech G710+ with Cherry MX Brown keys) and it didn't affect my typing speed at all. I can type just as fast on this as I could any other keyboard I owned.
