Using Draven or L-Block as exemple of case where Link didn't win is pretty ridiculous.

Out of non rallied contests (and people tends to hate rallies) , Link has won 7/8 times (and don't ever expect Cloud to do it again, at this rate he isn't even #2)

What's the fun of seeing a contest where the best players aren't involved? Seems kind of meaningless.

It's more about the interest of the contest.
In sports, there is always the chance to an upset , there, there is none.
Do you think the NFL would be as successful if they told you the winner before the matches were shown ?

Even if Zelda somehow wins the rematch, it would have to be on the back of ridiculous rallies far bigger than the site can handle (and so while it would be far more appreciated than Draven, it would not be a "gamefaqs" result).
And let's be honest, in sport there is a interest in seeing how the top players play.
Is there any interest in Link's 60/40 matches ?

Averia is right. Yeah the strongest should win. But here is the thing. NOBODY likes someone to keep winning all the time. Nobody. Link has only 1 legitimate loss, meaning without rallies and that was 15 years ago. Anyways when the contest ends we shall discuss this I believe.

The Patriots have never gone a full season without losing. Random teams always find wins somewhere. Link is not like this.
