Was 28 according to my car this morning.

After spending 15 minutes waiting for the stupid thing to defrost, I ended up in rush hour. Then there was a traffic jam on the interstate too so I had to go the backroads way.

And of course when I got to work I had to just hope I wasn't going to hit anything backing into my parking spot since my side mirrors were still frosted.

There is literally not one redeeming characteristic of winter or automobiles.

I don't mind the cold temps, but it does get to a point where it's more bothersome than enjoyable. Around sub 40 it becomes bothersome or even harmful.

Another downside is, if you think people in the north can't drive in icey/snowy conditions you should see it around here. Gotta close almost every bridge and screw up traffic routes, people don't understand how temps affect handling and just go all over the road since no one has winter tires or the ability to drive anymore it seems. Then there's pipes bursting since they're often not protected until you find out if your building/house sucks in that regard the hard way.

45ish-60 is awesome on the other hand, since it's not the 75+ norm and you can still function normally. Think right now it's around 35 and was closer to 30 earlier.
