I didn't think the new version of the Switch was out for at least a few months?

I assumed it was just minor improvements, like a bigger harddrive, rather than more graphical power.

Get the one with the grey joy cons. Unless you like the obnoxious shades of orange and blue they chose for the other one. And the one with the updated hardware won't be any more powerful than the existing model.

I think you missed your chance to get one with a game at a discounted price now that the Black Friday fervor has died down. I think they had some with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe going for $299.

Now, you probably won't find a lot of bundles like that that aren't being sold at an elevated price by scalpers. Particularly the unique ones like Smash Bros, Diablo 3, Splatoon 2, etc. Ones with different decals or joy on colors.

For the standard Switch, your options are either the dark gray joycons or the neon red and blue joycons. I prefer the gray ones.

Gamestop said they're going to have a sale soon. They weren't guaranteeing it would include the Switch, but I bet it will. I mean I hope it does. Might pick up Smash and Diablo.
