Imagine if the government read people's twitter instead of journalists and decided to reduce their credit so they have lower status.

So you apply for a job but they say you cannot be hired because google shows you visited 4chan occasionally.

Kevin Hart would never been asked to host the oscars cause his social credit would be too low.

If you are friends with a homophobe, you lose credit to encourage people to let them be alone with no friends.

If a guy goes on reddit to say incel things, his family will disown him or face losing social credit.

Would the world be a better place?
