Meanwhile people are going crazy that the outer worlds have real dialogue window and real skill check.

Lmao, i am more happy about how many people shit on bethesda than the game being announced itself.

That said, if anyone in the world can make a great RPG, it is leonard boyarsky and tim cain.

Hope they still got it. This new IP doesnt have the history of Fallout behind it so theyre gonna have their work cut out for them buildimg an interesting world.

Those dialogue options looked pretty boring so that's a bit alarming and there were only three of them.

Unless [Intimidate] changes to something else based on whatever skill you have that may be higher that's a letdown.

Thats why if THAT is makinh people excited, imagine a more in depth dialogue.

Basically if they're gonna have skill checks in dialogue they should cater to every "speech" skill you have in the game in my opinion.

New Vegas didn't do that always but they did it a lot or at least tried to.

pillars of eternity, espeically deadfire was almost like that,

i find it nice, but the one that actually affect gameplay are sparser than the one that just change a line or 2

I hope this game is good. It very well may be the last "Obsidian" game we ever get. This was in development long before the Microsoft buyout...

The next ones will be really telling.

yeah. i wonder if feargus regret selling now.

anyway i have hope due to tim cain and leonard boyarsky doing this, i mean leo left comfy job at blizzard to make his "dream game".

last time these two collaborated, we got troika games which transcend divinity.
