Get a 2nd controller, set stock to one, jump off map, face challenger, close app, repeat. It makes it so the internal counter resets and you unlock a character every match. I think there was a 10 minute cooldown + distance traveled at some point during the cycle, but closing the app resets all that. There's three ways to unlock them, and the fastest is playing the usual versus mode, and is slowed by a ten minute timer instead of a match number.
