You can mod it to play the full gd-rom rips. The CD sized rips are typically compressed down to be able to fit on a CD. Sometimes things get cut out of games like opening cinematics/boot screens, or most commonly the audio gets compressed to shit to get it down to 700mb. There are other mods you can do too like replacing the Loud stock fan or getting an HDMI switch that can support progressive scan on HDTVs (if the game supports it)

Id at least want ~$200-250

I have nearly all the consoles but frankly don't ever see playing them again. I only want to keep a handful of consoles and games.

Considering you can still easily buy brand new official VMUs and controllers, no one is ever going to pay that much for an unmodded Dreamcast. If you sold it as a lot with all your games then maybe, although, it would heavily depend on what games you have that you'd put with it and the condition of those games.

Not sure why people are acting like the topic creator shouldn't be surprised. If I didn't know anything about what Dreamcasts sold for I could easily believe they went for a lot of money. I just found out yesterday that DualShock 3's for the Playstation 3 are suddenly expensive now.
