I posted in the other topic explaining clear evidence of bias.

But the fact that they feel the need to censor a topic pointing out the bias is even clearer evidence of bias. Outside of the Off-Topic rule (which doesn't apply on CE), there is literally NO reason to shut down such a topic unless it violates another rule (which that one didn't) unless you're covering something up.

Moderators here are highly inconsistent. One one hand, they're sluggish in response, barely enforce their own rules (especially about trolling) and often highly non-existent. Other times, they'll send you moderation notices about some of the stupidest little things (that you'd expect not to get in trouble over) and then occasionally doing a good job.

I've seen taking a neutral stance (Maybe it did happen. Maybe it didn't) on rape allegations be moddable.

I used to think there was a bias, but now I think that it is either just gross incompetence of the new mods at worst, or just a general lack of giving a shit at best.

Which is funny considering the lengths some of the mods go to prove everyone wrong about why they were modded.

My other account got warned for making a prison rape joke like a week or two ago, and I'm pretty sure it has a pretty good record since I haven't used it much at all in the past few years.

I didn't even notice until two weeks after the fact because I didn't care to use the account until then, but I was just like "That gets a warning now?"

GameFAQs mods are bad, but only because they're super rigid and afraid. Because of that, you get a bunch of rulings and moderations that are inconsistent with their own ruling or purely based on opinions which always boils down to "we can't risk it" no matter what precedence there are.

That would just get modded for Disruptive Posting now. Mark it as Disruptive and include in the notes that they're deliberately derailing the topic

As a more explicit example, more likely than not, if you found five random threads on politics on this board and posted "this topic is now about [X]" you will probably be modded for disruptive posting. Not off-topic, however, since you can't mark posts for off-topic on this board (no topicality).

I agree that the ToS would make it seem this way. I'm just saying, I've been told otherwise by a mod. I don't know how it is on hellhole, but on CE they don't care about topic derailment
