At least the restaurant is good. We had the party here last year.

And I like most of my coworkers too. It's just:

1. I can't avoid my boss' boss, as is my habit since he hates me.
2. I hate having to spend $25 on a Dirty Santa gift nobody is going to use just to get stuck with something I'm not going to use either.

And this year in particular, it's the same night as the Church Xmas party, which Mrs. DevsBro was looking forward to going to since she doesn't get out much ever since Baby DevsBro was born. But I can't watch him since I'm here so she has to stay home with him.

I've taken to giving some kind of food or usable product for Dirty Santa like a bag of my favorite kind of cookies from my local bakery, or a really nice moisturizer. Something that isn't a space-hogging knick knack.

You know, I did see a sampler pack of hot sauce which would have been perfect but didn't come close enough to the max.

I'd say this Friday is my company party, but more correctly it's my client's company party.

But they do a nice setup. Like six different food stations throughout the building serving different stuff, and apparently it's all real good.

Also they've got shuffleboard and karaoke set up for entertainment.

Also I hear a rumor that a dashing guy with a Z in his name is setting up an Ultimate tourney, but that's just rumor.
