We look at each others phones just whenever, but not like, looking for anything. Just like, if one of us wants to look something up we just grab whichever of our phones is closest since we know each others unlock pins.

yes i broke in my ex boyfriends phone quite a lot and 8 out of 10 times i was rewarded with some nasty disloyal shenanigans

Yes, but not with the standard implications. She gave me her old iphone, all old accounts and pics and everything. I still get her emails cause it's convenient for when she's already... on her phone.
