Current Events > Godzilla and XCOM would be a good crossover

Aliens are frequent antagonists in Godzilla movies. Psychic/psionic abilities sometimes play a role in them as well. In a world with kaiju, maybe the Ethereals just completely bypass humanity and take control of the monsters instead. Godzilla and the others could be more useful than anything else they have for whatever unknown enemy they're preparing for. It's one idea for a fanfiction that I thought would be really cool.
