One died before I was born, and another was supposed to die of a brain tumor last year but is still hanging in there.

none, moms were dead before i was born, dads died after but i only saw them like 3-4 times in my whole life. ironically my grandma lived to her late 80s but only died about 6 months before my dad did

My dad's mom died four years ago aged 78
My dad's dad is 83 but has dementia and needs a lot of care

My mom's mom and dad are 78 and 83 and despite a few blips are in solid health and spending their old age traveling. They are going to Japan an Alaska next year on top of their usual trips to Greece and the caribbean.

I'm 31 btw

The last one died around a decade ago. Now it's my parents I worry about

Three. One shot himself in the head when my father was 6.

1 died a couple of weeks after I was born from cancer, 1 died a couple of years ago from cancer, and another's on his way with extremely severe dementia.

1. My grandmother from my mom's side.

My first grandfather to die was from my dad's side. They were vague on how he died since my dad was only a kid when it happened.

My other grandfather (mom side) died around fall 2009 and it was my first real loss I've experienced of death of a family member.

Grandmother (dad's side) died of extremely old age. Never remarried.

One died before I was born. Two more died before I was an adult.

Dads side:

- Grandfather died in 2006, never met him, left the family when my dad was 7.
- Grandmother died in 2014.

Moms side:

- Grandmother is 93.
- Grandfather is 90.

Paternal grandfather died when I was like 3, so I don't remember him.
Both my grandmothers died in 2007.

...Though in a technical sense, since my mom's adopted, my biological maternal grandmother is still alive, but I have never met her (she and my mom just reconnected this year).

Both grandpa's went when I was a kid (10 and 16). My dad's mom went four years ago.

My mom's mom is 89 and still pretty strong. She pretty much has no will to live but her body marches on.

His mother died a few years ago on Christmas Eve of a severe illness.

My mom's father died of aneurism when I was 16.
Her mother died 5 years ago due to kidney failure from an untreated infection.

My dads parents were much older and were actually old enough to be my maternal grandparents parents.

Cause it's soooo trashy for a woman to have a child at 25, that child to have a child at 25, and for that child to have a living 75 year old grandmother and a 50 year old mother when they turn 25.

Pretty much, that's basically the cutoff. If you have grandparents they better be 75+ which is why people are saying their grandparents are 90 and shit, too embarrassing otherwise

My mom's dad died in 2003 and her mom died back in March of this year

Same except swap mother and father.

And currently as of posting this, my grandfather's slipping away from us. His kidneys are failing him and he's already told my mom and uncles that he doesn't want dialysis treatments anymore and he's pretty much ready to check out :/

None. I'm 32 and my Dad is 74 and my Mom is 68. Parents had me at an older age. Dads parents both died @ 93 years old back in the 90's. Moms Dad died when I was just 6 months old from cancer and Grandma about 6 years ago @ 89.

I'm 24.

My mother's real mom was a single-mother and she got killed in a traffic accident when my mother was 3.
So she was raised by my biological grandma's sister. She's still alive. And I've always called her grandma because she deserves it. Her husband died back in 2000 iirc. She's 77 and doing great for her age.

Grandpa from my father's side died of cancer back in 1999, grandma is still alive. She's 76 and well.

One afaik, grandma on my moms side. I don't know my dad so idk about them.
