People don't want the wage to be increased because "it's hard work" they want it to be increased so they can support themselves

That, and half the people babbling about how "easy it is" clearly don't have any experience working in one of those hellhole jobs. Yes, it is not a particularly skilled job, but you have to deal with asshole customers and shithead management with absolutely unrealistic expectations of the employees

I worked at McDonald's when i was 16, it was easy as shit. I ran grill by myself, plus the chicken nuggets and the other shit.

If people think working fast food is a difficult job and the customers they deal with is hard then go be a ride operator at an amusement ride company. I made $60 a day while working 10 to 11 hour days, not to mention having to set up and tear down rides.

The customers get pissed because they don't have the correct ride tickets or the ride is shut down for maintenance or if their kid is too short to go on the ride. They act like it's your fault for all that.

My mom is 55 and she works at a factory as a car parts inspector and she makes $15 an hour, she got the job the same day she went and applied for it. Some people just don't want to put the effort in to go find a job that better supports them and their family.
