Please don't.

Give yourself a chance to change your mind.

Here's what you do.

Open a text document and write a bunch of random letters and numbers in it.

Then change your gamefaqs password to that thing, and log out. Make sure the password is not saved in your memory.

Now, print that text document, then delete it from your PC.

Then, take that paper you printed with your password, fold it in many pieces, and hide it somewhere in your house / apartment where you never look. Like, in a drawer that you never use and that is collecting dust. Something like that.

Now you can't log in anymore.

You can't just say "fuck it" and log back in. Because it requires effort. You'll have to retrieve that stupid piece of paper and painstakingly re-write all those random letters and numbers.

Give it some time.

A week or a month.

Then you'll know if you really want to close your account.

And print that in your piece of paper

Then if you really, really want your account back, go to wherever you go to register domain names and buy that domain
