Talking about her getting decapitated? That was honestly the apex of the movie if you're talking about terms of genuine horror. The mom and son at the dinner table was probably the best scene and really shows the tragedy behind it all. Everything after that is lukewarm to just bad and really detracts from the previous scenes. I've yet to see a decent paranormal film that doesn't rely on possession and/or spooky house

The trailer is amazing, so I'm not sure if you'll like the movie either, but it's definitely a top 5 movie of the year, and easily one of the very best horror movies of the last decade.

trailer was good at deceiving the girl as an everlasting plot point in the story. that was a total lie

i think its good horror movie that doesn't rely on jump scares too much and puts emphasis on its grotesqueness.

does anyone else see a trend in horror movies lately where a kid dies or is it just me
