.....drastically reduce funding for programs that would help those kids like head start wic, food stamps etc.....sadly i think many pro life people have this mindset. What do you think?

I wouldn't say "most". I would say "people like that exist". But on the whole, it's a blown-out-of-proportion stereotype used to try and dismiss that side of the argument, because the pro-choice side don't really have much beyond buzzwords, dehumanizing their victims and strawmanning.

This, heartless but they are not mutually exclusive. I know a church nearby that has services to help moms with their baby problems. Even hiring nannies (out of their pocket for a couple of weeks or even months) to take care of the baby while the girl goes to school or work.

I dont think there is a contradiction, but the label of pro-life could be what is implying one. For example, I dont want my neighbor to kill his girlfriend, but I dont lay awake at night worrying if his girlfriend is getting WIC, food stamps, extra rolls of toilet paper, internet access, etc.
