this time never includes lunch, if you think people are truly free from the feeling of obligation or mental taxation during this time you are mistaken. then the average daily commute is like an hour. but the worst part is the obligation of strict hours, which you must spend time to meet, getting ready for a specific time every single day, and the effects on your mental wellbeing and circadian cycle even during the days off.

the average benefits people get is the absolute bare minimum. whoop de doo, the OPPORTUNITY to PAY out the ass for a human necessity, health and mental health care.

wealth distribution in our country is beyond fucked, just search that on youtube on check out some visualizations. it was beyond fucked in our parents generation, and now its so fucked that the average citizen cant even comprehend it. the difference between billions and millions becomes meaningless to humans as its too large to comprehend. but the difference is quite literally orders of magnitudes, the difference between wealth distribution of the 70s and now is basically beyond human comprehension.

if y9u work for a multibillion dollar corp, they should at the very least be paying for your housing, utilities, every penny of health costs, and extra compensation to ourselves and the next several generation for having to live in an apocalyptic late capitalist society, being subject to things like draconian, manipulated copyright and patent laws, endless advertising, and manipulating our lawmaking and governement, which affrcts the very fabric of our lives.

employement in our society is indentured servitude at best. we dont live lives, just abject simulacra. and its all due to a significant portion of humanity being sociopathic narcissists.

As opposed to making 0$ and being homeless?

Much better on the mental health?

Probably as opposed to flexible and logical work schedule based on needs.

I will have to argue after having experienced flexible work schedule, sometimes it's better to just have a set schedule. It's more stressful when you realize you still have work to do after everybody who did standard schedule is done
