To draw a modern parallel. Imagine Infinity War 2 coming out in April and all it is, the big finale to the whole damn thing is nothing but Stark going on a journey of self discovery in his own mind where he relives his teen years. And then it just ends. What happened to literally everything and everyone going on in the plot? Who knows. It's over. That's what it felt like experiencing that ending the first time. That level of a gut punch. And it's still a raw irritation all these years later. Knowing there will never be a proper ending. --- FFVII Remake: A disaster in the making.
