I wouldn't say others are wasting their money, but stuff like Sling and Hulu really just do not appeal to me. The whole point of streaming was for me to pay for a service and get content, not ads. Netflix does that for me. But Hulu and Sling, you get to pay for the subscription and you still have to watch ads. Really doesn't make sense.

No. I don't subscribe to any besides youtube.

But if I did subscribe to one, it would probably be FX's service. Whichever service has the most Always Sunny is the correct service. Everything else is just a bonus. I will never have a Netflix subscription since they got rid of it (I'll use someone else's though).

You know what sucks? Audible still makes you buy audiobooks individually. I get that books are in a separate class and should be purchased separately, but if there can be a free and legal site to download audio books, which there is, it seems like there should be a premium one with more content. Just throw some change at publishers whose books haven't sold in years. Indie streaming services do this with old movies and it works out pretty well.

For me the ads are largely irrelevant, I just want the content on demand, and using Hulu is cheaper than buying a cable sub or dvd sets.

Netflix has no ads but their content has been really lacking for me recently. >_>

You can block the ads on Hulu. Requires some work but it can be done.
