The original live action trilogy is good with #3 being the weakest.
TMNT (2007) was great (good PS2 & GBA games too)
Turtles Forever was... kinda a parody of the franchise, "so bad its good" if you will.

I think the rest are shit/Micheal Bay, as far as I know. And I'd like to think Im a fairly big TMNT fan... compared to most people these days anyways.

I liked the first two, but only liked the second one because I was a fan-boy of Ernie Reyes Jr., really enjoying his movies he did when he was a kid because he was only 9 years older than me, so growing up I would watch a lot of his older movies.

First live action one actually holds up as one of the best comic book films ever made.

TMNT from like 2007 was really good too.

The Michael Bay ones are fine.

I really liked the first live action one and the second and third are guilty pleasures of mine.

The 2007 one was meh and I haven't seen either of the ones that were produced by Michael Bay.

the original is still a classic to this day. as a kid Secret of the Ooze was my favorite. I see how it doesn't hold up, but it still has a place in my heart

the rest are trash except for the Leo/Raph fight in TMNT

The first movie is the best by far. It has mild swearing in it and an overall darkish theme to it. The voice acting is great, too.

The second movie (Secret of the Ooze), while not a bad kid's movie....is much more of a kid's movie. No more swearing. No more real fighting, either. All the violence was replaced with gags or severely toned down. Voice acting took a step back. Casey Jones was suddenly nowhere to be found. Keno was a cool character, but he couldn't really save the movie.

3 is straight-up trash. Even as a kid watching this movie at the theater for the first time....a time in most people's lives where we don't even understand the concept of a "bad" movie, I still found this movie to be bad. I would only watch it if you are in the mood to laugh at how terrible everything about it is. Especially Splinter. There must have been like a $500 budget for this movie. It was so bad that nobody made a new TMNT movie for almost 15 years. Listen to the voice-acting, too...just fucking awful.

When you have a franchise that's as popular as TMNT was at the time, it's easy to get greedy and try to profit from it as much as you can. So the plan is simple....spend almost nothing on producing a TMNT 3 movie, and watch as people still buy tickets to go see it = big profits.

Of course, you usually can't do this more than once without redeeming it again somehow.

Well Turtles Forever is great for fans of the 2003 series as it acts as a series finale. However it's not for people who wanted to see the 87 turtles return.

The first one is an honest to god classic even if you aren't a fan.

I haven't seen the second one since it came out and don't really remember it. I was so into TMNT when it came out I even bought the scholastic novelization, which I don't remember either. I kind of want to watch it again now but I'd probably have to watch the first one again for it to make total sense.

The rest are alright I guess. Not classics, not mind-boggling or fresh in any way but pretty fun to watch.

In the third one, Splinter was actually a puppet instead of costume in the first two. Which was why every time he was shown it was either behind a window or had something covering his lower half because he didn't actually have one.
