My old username was fine. But when the option to change it became available originally, I switched it to this in order to get it more in line with my usernames pretty much everywhere else (XBox Live, PSN, etc).

Yes, but I was thankfully able to change my username a few years back. Rather than just shortening it as I did, I guess inclusive gone a whole new path, but mine's short and sweet now so it's fine.
