I just found the instructions to format it on the Switch. I'll see if that makes a difference, because I was formatting it via my PC the first time. But it's kinda weird because just now the Switch prompted me to format it when I booted up with the card in, which it didn't do before

I don't know what I did, but I know I didn't format it via PC so it must've been via Switch

I got The Messenger on the Black Friday sale for the Switch. It's a blast.

I've heard good things about that but I don't really like Ninja Gaiden, though I also heard it smooths over some of the ridiculousness of old NG. I dunno, I'm kind of ambivalent on the trend of indie games aping famous classic games (but I've bought and enjoyed several of them)

It wasn't on sale but I bought keep talking and nobody explodes (I think that's what it's called) the bomb defusal party game and now that's a "blast!!!" But for real it's very fun and innovative and I'm going to bring it to family Christmas parties

I want dead cells but I hate these $5 off of $25 sales...I feel like a schmuck pretending that's the deal I was waiting for

I got The Messenger too and it's great but today I got to a part that was really hard and it made me mad so I quit. My major criticism though is that it thinks it's really funny and it's not funny at all. It has kind of a cool story but it undercuts itself at every opportunity with some lame ass fourth wall breaking comedy.

Fourth wall breaking seems like another one of those indie game cliches. That's weird given the inspiration, isn't the NG series generally pretty serious? I don't mind a little humor in games though, as long as it's done well

Amazon was selling a 400 GB one on sale for $80 recently. Not now though. I picked it up even though I have a 128 GB one.

I just went with 128 GB, doubt I'll need much more than that. The biggest games are usually retail too at least although some have that bullshit where you gotta download anyway

The Suckhawks are probably going to make the playoffs after beating the Panthers. The NFC playoff picture is so many gross teams. Saints, Cowboys, Rams, Hawks, Bears. Okay I guess the Bears aren't that gross but they don't excite me at all.

Tough as nails. Probably took me about 20 times. I watched a video of someone beating him by attacking him at the beginning and that helped me a lot. I beat him the next time I tried after that.

I thought the dragon was really hard too. I only beat him because at the end when he gets rid of all the cloud but the edge and then breathes fire at you, he left enough of the cloud for me to hit him with a throwing star and then I killed him when he was stunned. I never successfully got to him by bouncing through the fire.

Are the Broncos actually good?

Their schedule is easy enough that they might be able to get 9-7 at this point, but I don't think that would be enough. Too many 5-6 teams in the AFC already. Plus the Ravens already beat them though I don't think head to head matters in most cases since last year the Bills got in over the Chargers who destroyed them in the legendary Nathan Peterman debut game

Oh yeah the dragon was really hard too because of the way he manipulated the environment. But good to know it wasn't just me getting owned by the general. I'm trying to get all the power seals and some of those are absolutely fucking brutal.

Now there are rumors that there will be a Skyward Sword remaster for Switch, but I dunno, between the Smash leaks and N64 Classic rumors I don't really trust anything anymore. I do like Skyward Sword but I don't know if I'd buy it again at the likely $60 price tag if it actually happens.

The rumors were Aonuma supposedly appearing at a Zelda concert saying "So how about Skyward Sword on Switch" which just sounds absurd given how generally tight-lipped Nintendo is on things. Of course this'll probably the one to actually come true since its evidence is the stupidest
