I remember getting an 86 on a philosophy exam one time when I showed up high as fuck and not knowing there even was an exam that day. I got a cramp in my wrist from writing so much and didn't have enough room in the booklet so I had to cut it short. My friend that I smoked with wanted to skip class that day but I was like "nah dude we should go I haven't been this week so I don't want to skip it again" and neither of us knew we had an exam. We were surprised by it. He got a 66 lol.

I'm naturally verbose, so I feel like I have the right sort of mind for it lol. I had been thinking of switching my major to it but by that point I was losing interest in academics and ended up dropping out instead.

Sometimes it takes more than a number on a paper. Sometimes it takes a professor or other professional to sit you down and say "Hey, you're good at this."

I think it's something more people should do with those they mentor. :)

Ah, reminds me of that law class I took four years ago concerning patents, trademarks and miscellaneous intellectual property.

Still have no idea how I got an A. I did have perfect attendance but I was half-asleep for a lot of the classes and I distinctly remember mad improvisations and random guesses during the final exams. Honestly, I fully expected a C minus.

I suck at putting effort into things I don't really care about. I also suck at learning by instruction as opposed to learning by application. Took a physics class and got a D and would have failed if not for cheating off of a friend. To me it was just converting random ass numbers and symbols into other random ass numbers and symbols and I had no clue what the fuck any of it meant. In contrast, I got an A in the lab component of the same course because we actually did stuff, so I understood the actual physical processes taking place.
