I really don't think that's what killed THPS. The main problem was they released really weak games and then killed the series with THPS 5 which was universally regarded as a terrible game.

Yeah, back when kids actually wanted to go to parks and rec centers. Now all kids want is damn phone, for real younger and younger kids getting them. My God daughter is 9 and got one when she was 7 or 8. Kids are being sent home with tablets to do their homework on at earlier and earlier ages. It's creepy af, these things monitor us all the time.

You know it's true. The mobile phone is destroying gaming too, there used to be a time when there were tons of games you could get hyped for til mobile gaming became a thing. I mean just look at the Nintendo switch's controller, that kind of stuff wouldn't fly in the early 2000s.
