I didn't know what was going on either when I saw her in that new Hulk run, which gets pretty violent.

It is a shame. When she's thin, she's one of the most attractive female characters.

But some of the artists are muscle fetishists and some of the social justice types feel that, if Hulk is huge, She-Hulk should be too. Personally, I think making her male Hulk with breasts just robs her of her own identity. Like, sure, it's a bit gendered that we get a big bulking guy with muscle and his female counterpart is a model with a little bit of muscle on her arms. But it makes her stand out as her own character rather than an exact copy.

I've never been a fan of the Mickey-and-Minnie approach where the male and female counterparts have the exact same look. But whatever. It makes social justice types happy to see huge arms and a thick waistline on a female character. It allows comic artists with odd fetishes a character to fawn over. Good for them, I guess.

By the way, She-Hulk is far and away more entertaining than the Hulk.

A woman with a sense of wit is a lot better than some growling troglodyte or an intellectual mind in a brutish body.

Never really saw the appeal in jerking it to a green cartoon woman, so I dont mind. I like that she looks more similar to the actual hulk now instead of being an inexplicably curvy attourney

Immediately jumping to "muh sjw" is almost always a stupid response. Marvel characters get new looks for new runs sometimes. This is hardly going to be the standard for her from now on.
