Breath of the Wild was great (Zelda fanboy though) Skyrim is trash Witcher 3 is really damn good RDR2 looks (Haven't played, only watched) like it has a lot of problems; W3 does everything better. Hyrule field is a hub that connects a bunch of different places that are all blocked off to you until you compete the dungeon when the appropriate item. There's nothing of interest there besides Malon's ranch, anyway. Of course, FC5 had a notoriously terrible plot, so it doesn't compare to RDR2 in that regard, but just the fun, dynamic ways of getting around, on top of the decent gunplay, was very enjoyable.
