Katie Fabert from Utah is outraged and left in tears after her daughter was unfairly yelled at and sent home for violating the school dress code by wearing a long sleeve sweater with a picture of Marilyn Monroe exposing her SHOULDER!!

Her 13 y/o daughter loves the icon and has a couple of sweatshirts with the actress on it and was shocked to find out that the school forced her daughter to leave the South Ogden Junior High School and change her shirt because the shoulders was giving "bad vibes" to "male students"

The sweater didn't expose any of the student's skin or share any offensive message as monroe was simply exposing her shouder in the image posing next to rapper Tupac Shakur.

Katie said "She basically just said "i got dress coded for this shirt'". She didn't know what was wrong with it at first because she knew the school was strict on clothing so the next morning she went over there and took matters into her own hands and confronted the school.

Katie said "Is this not in the dress code? And he said, no it's not. and i siad, well why isn't it?"

Katie said the vice principal acted unprofessionally as he got in their faces over the shoulder exposure and how it was exposing too much "body". Katie pulled her daughter out of school after that and said "alright, let's go"

Later in the day, the principal said her sweater didn't violate any dress code at all but didn't specify if her daughter could wear that sweater again as he will make a "final decision" on it with the other staff members.

Katie said "Instead of enforcing what is actually dress code, these teachers are coming in and bringing in their own opinion".

Were girls allowed to wear clothes that expose their shoulders and knees at your high school?
