Music Mafia was my first game in years. I wasn't as confident in my abilities then and I was far less certain about my reads in general. Plus I was, to be frank, in a far better mood and less stressed at the time. I have not felt up to dealing with people's bullshit this game. Dunno if you could call me a vocal leader this time out though, I've been loud and I'm confident in my reads but definitely not playing my best while I felt I had a good game in Music Mafia.

I'll be off soon-ish as well. Would've loved DYL to come in here before going but sleep comes first.

Ugh and see like here, I expect you to point out you literally replaced into the game and instantly got handed two cop scans from your predecessor. That seems so relevant to the situation to me, how could you not mention it.

I've been battling myself because there's not a whole lot going on and DYL isn't even here defending himself and I feel bad about Sheep... but really, DYL is probably just Scum.

And while I do think he is Scum, I am going to end the day with my vote on him no matter what for my Neab contract.

Neab is still probably my #1 lynch but I'm not super opposed to DYL or Sheep either

Han's kind of been rubbing me the wrong way today. I want to trust him because Kanz did but I'm getting less and less convinced

I think if Neab were to flip scum that would definitely sell Han as scum too

I feel pretty good about Neab, JB, IGCD as Town. I have no reason to believe my read on Corrik has been wrong this game and I still stand by it. Death is almost certainly Town because I refuse to believe we only have 2 Town vanillas.

Scumlist is Sultan, you (puns), Sheep, DYL.

I think that either one of Corrik, Sultan, or you is definitely lying with the passive nature of your powers. Feels like a concurrent theme, though yours makes the least sense as a direct Scum version, even though you haven't technically given us all information. I've said my bit on Sheep already. DYL is Scum.

what actually initially got me into mafia was that I had played it as a party game a bunch of times, where it's basically the same thing only way more casual and every game is like half an hour max

also I'm admittedly better at reading facial expressions than examining posts

Ok same question I posed to Han. Can you post a summary of how you view the game as a whole right now? People you like? People you don't like? Doesn't necessarily have to be 100% conclusive or mention everyone.

Sbell and Doop really fucked their team over by getting desperate and trying to form a last-second train on me D2

Them making themselves kind of gave town some easy victories but also kind of allowed the rest of the mafia team to lie dormant while letting them take the fall for their mistakes

IGCD gave me strong scum reads D2 but kind of fell out of the light since then, not because he's particularly towny but because he seemed to kind of let everything happen. It doesn't help his case but also I do the same thing sometimes so it's hard to read

Doop gladiating Neab seems like a weird act. I legitimately can't imagine why scum would gladiate town that early in the day, when he already had the most heat on him. It eliminates the small chance of focus slipping off of him later in the day. BUT I think a desperate scum might make a wild act like that to try to make another scum look good, which actually draws me more to Neab

Today we've gotten a weird Neab/Han/Sheep group forming, and I'm not sure how I feel about it. Han was one of Kanz' biggest town reads, and since I trust him to be good at the game and know he's town, I'm hesitant to argue against his judgment, but I haven't had town feelings from either Sheep or Neab all game

Corrik is cocky but seems town, even if he tried to argue against Doop

Sultan has seemed weird and bad pretty much the entire game and he still seems like mafia, though it could be just a bizarre, bad play

DYL I felt bad about early on, but since then he's just seemed kind of there. Hasn't put in much effort I don't think. The fact that the vote keeps casually sweeping back to him every day seems sketchy, like mafia's constantly trying to divert attention from the real targets. Then again, I don't exactly have anything to say in DYL's defense

So yeah, sorry about being away for as long as I have. Really should have just gotten myself replaced day 3 but I told myself "I'll get more time" and well we see how that turned out.

...Honestly, even though I'm town, I don't even disagree with lynching me tonight just so scum doesn't use me as a scapegoat at endgame.

tldr: you're either remembering the situation wrong or intentionally misrepresenting it

when they got off me, there was literally <2 minutes left in the day and it was looking clear that Sbell was going to get got

someone got on me when there was about 1 minute left, immediately after I think Doop had finally gotten off of me

bringing it to a tie would've required that both Sbell and Doop (who we know were both mafia) saw that last vote, coordinated, and immediately contradicted their last move, all in literally <1 minute left in the day

Doop tried arguing the same thing yesterday and it was just as bad of an argument then. They didn't take it into overtime because they didn't think it was possible to. Getting on Neab was probably just them saving face somehow because they knew Neab wouldn't get lynched because, again, the day was basically over

and honestly that just looks worse for Neab in hindsight, so I think I'll keep my vote where it is

If you think I'm scum, look back at topic one when me and Scare were the lynch leads. Look at how slow activity got, almost how no one seemed particularly concerned.

When I asked why people went for that special, I don't recall any satisfactory answers.

John, keeping Neab alive is the right play. I just don't see a realistic scenario where he's scum right now.

This put me at -1 apparently, and he knew it because he warned people that I was at -1. Except.... why do that in the first place and risk me being "accidentally" mislynched?

I was researching Chris posts, which led me to realize

I'm not fully convinced either is scum but I'm not missing a chance to lynch DYL

Maybe I'm too tired to recall, but I feel like the only thing keeping IGCD from getting lynched is that Han scanned him inno. Though I admit that it would be hard for me to believe there's a second role that can fool cop. Han being scum is also pretty unlikely, unless you're convinced there are absolutely no "scanning" roles(Corrik and Sheep "follow" more than "scan") for town. Metaing that far not advised.

IGCD voted me up every day he could, so at least he's consistent(wrong as he may be).

Corrik is someone I want to believe based off role alone. Though I feel Naeb's flip will confirm(well "confirm") him for sure since he saw him visit a dead body. If Naeb flips scum, then Corrik is almost certainly town. If he flips town, then things aren't as clear. Tracker is more common than watcher for scum roles, aren't they?

But tomorrow is day 5 right? Assuming he isn't dead, people should be able to figure out Corrik by then.
