to ask what their name is? Because I've been knowing my sister's boyfriend for years and I have no idea what his name is.

You were supposed to ask him during the first you met and if you forgot then you couldve asked him again the second time you saw him. Going this long without knowing his name is ridiculous lol. How have you never heard anyone refer to him by his name? I guess you could just look at his name on your sisters Facebook page or something

Try either:

A) Asking him how to spell his name

-or-

B) Ask what his middle name is

Avoid learning it at all. Its funnier that way. Just call him pal or bud.

Or you could be a dick and call him all sorts of foul shit. Take advantage of this opportunity. Being a dick to in laws/bfs/gfs is a good time.

I have heard his name, but it was something super generic like Rayshaun or DeShaun. I forget what it was. I just call him "my guy" or "man" most of the time

Look at your sister's facebook or try to catch the contact name on the screen before she answers it.
