Dash_Harber 11/10/18 7:36:01 PM #2:	I'd say they are alright, but the overuse of CGI and that 2000's aesthetic has been so thoroughly driven into the ground it's going to be hard for someone unfamiliar with the movies to watch them and not feel a bit like the atmosphere is cheesy and derivative. They are also from that weird era where the studios couldn't decide whether they wanted to make superhero movies for adults or to make them cheesy toy commercials, so there is that, as well. <cite>Dash_Harber posted [p:912182438] in Do X-Men (... It has the slowest pacing of those movies and not much action. I watched X2, said to myself, "That was better than the first one... and it was still boring," and haven't watched an X-Men movie since. I gave Van Helsing a second try. (It didn't pay off.)
