I have, but I didn't quite understand how it works. It seems like you have to buy some card instead of using coins.

I consider it completely unimportant who in the party will vote, or how; but what is extraordinarily important is this who will count the votes, and how.

Don't a lot of arcades do that?

I guess so, but I am more used to using tokens.

Have you ever been to D&B? They use cards to avoid all the tokens and cash
I guess. You miss the coin mech sound but it's not so bad considering we could have no arcades at all.

The difference is D&B has ticket redemption and US types of games. Round 1 is skewed towards JP games like music/rhythm, UFO catchers, many fighters, and stuff you won't see at D&B. It was the first time I saw anything like Hatsune Miku, Drum Mania, Initial G, and something that honestly looked like an arcade RPG. Karaoke too.

At my nearest Round1, I too noticed that it was focused on Japanese arcade games.

According to their sites, except for CA there aren't a lot of R1's around the US. D&B is kinda all over. Not sure how new it is.

D&B has always sorta bored me. All of their games are pretty similar.

A lot of barcades Ive been to have freeplay turned on, with the idea being that they make their money on drinks. One in Chicago called Headquarters tends to have late 80s/early 90s WWF stuff running all the time, too. In my book, Booze + arcade games + old wrestling = win
