This. Mind Field is the shit, although not quite the same format. There's a much heavier focus on entertainment instead of "enrichment" unlike his Youtube channel and it tends to have the same feel as Mythbusters. I bought a month of YouTube Red just to watch through the series and it was worth it, honestly.

Yeah, it's a bummer, but at least he is rewarded for all the enjoyment he gave to literally millions of people.

Can't afford YT Red, but my parents are subscribed to Youtube TV which comes with Youtube Red, so maybe one day I'll watch it there.

Unfortunately, I don't know if that was everyone, but if it was, I don't think 7 people is a large enough sample, but in the end, it was interesting to see only 2 did anything.

Last guy, I was scared he was going to be traumatized, it really affected him. Hope he definitely is okay.

I wasn't too surprised, though. We're all brave when asked a question because there is no real emotion when we think about it. It was cool to actually see the experiment done, since the question alone can't really provide any insight other than that we all think we are heroes at heart.

I miss Vsauce. I don't feel like paying for YouTube Red. (Though I did just long enough to watch a good chunk of Mind Field and it was the shit ... wish it wasn't behind a paywall, that's just ass and I feel it's against the entire purpose of the channel. >_>)

Yeah, it is a bit sad since it used to be free, thought-provoking videos. I guess he has always wanted to do a TV show, something of a higher-production that you can't exactly do as a youtuber. For instance, I don't think you could get the trolley problem experiment as just a youtuber. At least not all the resources he ended up getting.

Since those probably take even more time than the usual videos do, it might be a little tiring for him to do so much. He gets to enjoy the fruits of his labor after these years of providing entertainment through the show and all the tours he has been getting to do.

Maybe one day he will return once he feels satisfied with Mind Field. Then again, he might just retire at that point, since I'm sure he can live freely off of the revenue he gets from the monetized vs on youtube along with doing tours and stuff.

I felt so bad for those few moments that the people tell the joke to someone and they don't laugh, and you know they feel like an idiot until the debriefing.

I don't know if I would have conformed with the first test. I know with the laughing test I would have conformed.

That's a hard test to conduct because you can laugh at the fact that someone else thinks it's funny rather than thinking the joke was actually funny.
