Lords of the Ring star, Viggo Mortensen has apologized after he SHOCKED the crowd at a panel while dropping the N-word while promoting his latest film in the Jim Crow South

He is most famous for playing "Aragorn" in the fantasy series as he was speaking at the Q&A panel following the screening "Green Book" about a friendship between a black musician and a white bouncer in the 1960s

The crowd was loudly gasped when he said the word as the 60 y/o used the racial slur and said it right next to his co-star Mahershala Ali.

He continued as if nothing happened after saying "For instance, no one says (blank) anymore" while discussing race in America

Guests in the audience, including Ali were tensed up as twitter users were shocked to hear his choice of words and vented

For many, the actor missed the mark. Race is a central theme in the movie where he plays white bouncer Tony Lip hired by famed Jamaican-American pianist, Don Shirley in the 1960s

Lip went on to play crime boss Carmine Lupertazzi on the Sopranos following his chauffeur and bouncer gig..

The actor immediately issued an apology as he said he will "never utter" the n-word again. He said "Im making the point that many people casually used the n-word at the time in which the movie's story takes place, in 1962, i used the full word. Although my intention was to speak strongly against racism, i have no right to even imagine the hurt that is caused by hearing that word in any context, especially form a white man. I do not use the word in private or in public life, i am very sorry that i did use the full word last night and will never utter it again"

He took the role with the purpose of raising racial awareness to help change people's views and feelings regarding racial issues and he was proud to be part of it.

Ali has said it was hurtful to hear it from him at the time but has since accepted his apology

Tony Lip passed away in 2013 at the age of 82

purposely create wrong and clickbait topics
spam it over the site a few times
make up articles and never link them since they're fake
he was suspended constantly for a few months whenever he did his gimmick but iirc that mod is no longer active

this is stupid, another one where they are referring to the word itself and not using it as a word. it shouldn't be offensive to refer to the word innocuously.

I wouldnt say theyre fake. You can usually find it pretty easy on daily mail. Or other sites. But I think he normally uses the daily mail. The stories he post are true. But he does change some stuff sometimes. Other times, he straight up copies them. But they usually are true news stories. For the news ones, at least...
