Wasn't a fan of the initial trailer cause I didn't like the song. For those saying that's a dumb reason, music plays a big part of the production value in Mizuguchi's games, but I decided to trust it based on how much I enjoyed Lumines.

Currently watching Honda-san while waiting for it to finish.

Well worth the price IMO, I've unlocked about 8 effects so far, and I've enjoyed them all. The randomizer mode is hilariously fun.

Edit: And that's crazy impressive btw. I can barely pull off consistent back-to-backs and T-Spins are really situational for me.

It's Tetris designed around sound and visuals. The control rumbles along with the music and stuff like that. Blocks flash in time with stuff and songs and visuals build up over time

Yeah, there's nothing that really sets it apart from the series when it comes down to the gameplay. Tetrisheads might enjoy some new scoring mechanics introduced in this game and it fully acknowledges master level players, but it's not likely to pull in anyone who doesn't already like it.

It probably is but I have so many version for Tetris and all sorts of other games backlogged so I'm trying to wait a few.

Been playing since the GB so there's been plenty of practice. I don't use T spins except on accident, try not to leave holes like that. Had a couple perfectrises on the demo and back on the Vita Tetris I had my sprint time down to like 1:20.
