I just got one in the mail and am going to be trying it out today. I've always been fascinated about them after hearing Joe Rogan praise Alpha Brain so much. Alpha Brain is way too overpriced, so I found one on Amazon that has comparable ingredients. They aren't the same, but they have what seem to be the major ingredients that are in alpha brain.

I was wondering if any of you guys have tried any nootropics and what your results were. I'm well aware that they aren't magic pills that make you smarter, but Joe says that when using it he feels like he can form sentences better when communicating and that's a major issue I have in social situations. Just having a slight boost in that regard would help my confidence a lot, because I slip and stutter on words often

5 grams of creatine per day has been shown to improve scores on cognition tests. Caffeine improves scores as well.

I wouldn't trust anecdotal evidence from sponsored podcasts.

Alpha-GPC, the major active ingredient in the mentioned supplements, actually has a lot of research showing physical and cognitive improvements, I'm just curious if anyone here have experienced these benefits

Edit: I should add, it seems there is research showing improvements, but more is required to see just how effective it is, so probably just about as reliable as anecdotal evidence

Just take modafinil
Shift workers get it and it's similar to a more focused Adderall, it'll be better than any snake oil bs you find elsewhere

Nothing beyond a time-release caffeine/L-Theanine stack, which works decently. I probably wasn't steady enough on sulbutiamine to notice any effect - if it exists.

A buddy of mine was on modafinil for a while and loved it, though I haven't tried it myself so I can't say

I usually recommend B12 supplements, they'll boost your energy and mood and you can't actually take too much since the vitamin itself is water soluble, you'll just pee out whatever your body can't use. And you can buy them anywhere

So, I honestly felt like I noticed a pretty large difference in sociability today. I'm hoping it wasn't placebo because I felt pretty on today
