I don't think even TeamFourStar can make Buu saga good, it's just such a shit show. And since Gohan has always been my favorite character, I don't think I can handle what they do to him there after Cell Saga was the perfect culmination of his power arc and the series in general.

Ending with Cell seems perfect to me.

I always thought people loved Buu Saga, despite the whining. Parts of it anyway.

Finally someone with some sense.

It's simply a better, more enjoyable version of DBZ to many. It's more humorous. The badass moments are usually even more badass (see Tien's Tri Beam on Cell) and it provides better character moments in some cases like that scene with human Android 16 while you hear kid Goku on the background just obliterating the RR army.
I rewatch DB every few years, but as soon as I get to Z, I'll always just switch to DBA.

Depends on wether it's a running joke or how creative they get with it. And if you really think they've been doing nothing but rehashing the same jokes over and over then we've watched different shows. Not everything was amazing or comedy gold, but they've hit a lot of highs over the years and routinely improved.
And like I said before, I do agree with the notion that they ended up doing just a different dub near the end of the Cell saga. Most fans rank Ep60 at the absolute top while I found it to be a bore overall. Brolly was the last thing they did that actually tried to be humorous.

I have a feeling from reading the stuff team four star posts that they are pretty much done with the abridged series, that the only thing that keeps them moving forward is the fanbase and the money they get from merchandise.
