as the absentee ballots continue to be counted, as expected, Kyrsten Sinema, the democratic nominee and first LGBT Senator has now pulled AHEAD of Martha McSally after results had McSally in a slight lead by 16,000 votes before the provisional and absentee ballots were counted.

But most of these ballots were in districts that Sinema was doing better than McSally and she is now 9000 votes ahead.

The Republicans are desperately trying to hang on to Jeff Flake's old seat to retain a stronger senate majority but the Democrats may have another seat in its numbers and ultimately only lost ONE seat in this election.

Although the seat in Mississippi is now in a run off between the Republican and Democrat nominee since none reached 50%, it's unlikely the Democrat Mike Espy can overtake Cindy Hyde Smith.
