Worst English accent is easily Brooklyn for me. I just cringe whenever those douchebags from Tanked open their mouths. It's like they vomit every other word.
Does the average person in Brooklyn talk like that or is it just these 2 clowns misrepresenting?

This 100%. When I heard Scarlett Johansson speak with that accent it sank my boner into the damn floor.

TC, I love the Australian accent.

I'm from New Zealand but apparently I hardly have the accent. Everyone guesses I'm British.

The Australian accent is difficult to get used to. Especially considering one key difference between the NZ and Aus accents is that Australians will say the American high-pitched version of words like 'dance' while we say the British lower-pitched version.

That's what it is!

The Steve Irwin/Crocodile Dundee "crikey!" accent, at least, IS their equivalent of a rural or redneck accent. A lot of Aussies, especially in the coast cities, have a greatly toned down accent compared to that. I remember back when Lost was on, seeing people complain about Emilie de Ravin's accent sounding "fake", when it was really just her naturally mild Victoria accent.

From my understanding the Appalachian Hillbilly accent and words are based off of Gaelic, Scottish-Irish or the sorts.

I like the thick old accents from NYC (think the 80s), it seems like those accents have kind of died out some or suffered from cultural flattening.

I agree with the statement about Australians kind of sounding like British hillbilly. I can still enjoy Aussie artists/music though even with a little bit of that going on.

I had a feeling he meant Don Jon, but couldn't believe it because that movie is really good and by far one of the hottest appearances of scarjo like, ever. That accent of hers is fantastic.
