When corporations do this the CEO is out on his ass at the first quarterly review and they're down. When Socialism does this you have to hope your resourceless ass outlives that emperor. That's what socialism is missing. Systems always seek more to seize the flow of capital and money, thinking that once they control it, they can buy everything they want, only to find they want to feed the people, but can't force people to farm. They want medical care for all, but can't force people to be doctors. They promise an easier ride, but the reality is, to give more, you have to produce more, not just be able to pay for it.
