the deal part is just super difficulty that reuse levels and stuff.

while i appreciate the seal part, i dont think the level is well constructed for this type of game. first of the seal ship is kinda badly designed, the platforming are annoying, but i do appreciate the effort to make a tight, multiple entries level that connects and loop and such, but the execution is bad.

it kinda wants to try to build a thief level, and the design philosophy behind thief games but failed. the layout dont really flow well and navigating it feel repetitive and sloggy.

the second, is that fucking second mission. i get the point but the execution too was fucking poor. this mission made me rage quit. 1st: unreliable waypoints. those god damn arrows are dumb and the quest marking dont fucking make sense, i cannot for the sake of everything holy make sense out of it.

it would be better if they just tell use the direction isntead of forcing us to rely on those stickers and arrows. like a simple NPC interaction with dialogue "take this dish to the client in the restaurant" or "take this trash to the trashcan in the kitchen" instead of using the stupid GPS arrow because it isnt even fucking functional.

i dunno, the second mission give me literal headache i dont think i will ever continue the DLC. i LOVE the base game, this DLC just ugggh

I did all the death wish missions but it's touhou level hard. I can see people who dislike that level of difficulty not liking it. And it is not properly balanced.

Yeah, i dont really have the time nor will to so it, so i had all my hope in the cruise ship. While exploring it the first time was fun, the second tenth time are tedious, the structure and layout of the level is just badly done.

Most of the base game level are a linear setpieces, but the one that you can explore, for example the mafia island and haunted woods was great, especially haunted woods, kinda was like miniaturized zelda overworld with parth unlocking each act and there are reasons to retread old paths as you gain new powers.

The cruise ship is just eeengh. My biggest complain is the indoor garden part that connects the deck into the furthee interior. First of all it is kinda stupid. In a linear level, that kind of challenge work, but when you actually need to explore, it is tedious, there isnt a reliable way to connect the interior and exterior aside from that and jumping beside the ship right or left side which are filled with tedious jump too.

Like i said, it is like someone tried to create a thief level thats tight, open ended and connected by multiple entrances and exits, but failto do it properly.

The cruise ship was good, just too short. Death Wish is just brutal. It was free though, so no big deal.

Yeah, you can tell most of the effort went into death wish. There's a LOT of new content including new soundtracks, artwork, and storybook pages though so if you don't mind using cheat mods like the Aura badge, the mustache girl hood, the Kirby yarn hat, and the magnet badge you could use those to at least check out the new stuff.

There will be a Switch version but nobody knows when. And the DLC is PC only.
