People's lives literally revolve around University of Nebraska football. I'm not kidding.

Also, no matter what the locals tell you, do not eat a "runza". It's some local fast food chain's signature item...think "hot pocket stuffed with cabbage and White Castle meat". It's revolting and will do awful things to your stomach/butthole.

Passed through there once. Seemed like a nice quiet state. Lots of corn. I heard they like to argue with Iowans about who has the better corn. I can't vouch for that, though.

Where at? There's kinda a big difference between Lincoln and Ohiowa. Lincoln and Omaha are the only real cities so if you're not near one of those, you'll be surrounded by cornfields.

and runzas are great. don't listen to the rubes.
